Fourth of July Cards

This week, I spend some time with my water color markers and my  stamps.

I like to make holiday cards that symbolize the importance of the holiday.  The 4th of July is a time to thank all who serve to keep us free.  So I used red white and blue and ribbon to complete my cards.

I like to switch up the cards to that I don't have all the same once in a while.  That way, I don't get too bored!

Craft room organization-not my strong suit

It started when I couldn't find the top of the table in my craft room.  For that matter, any flat surface in the craft room.  Too much paper, too many stamps, too many stickers and the yarn that was rolling everywhere.

I had to do something but what??? Other than close the door and forget about ever crafting again.

So I pulled up my big girl's pants and waded in.  It wasn't pretty but............... I finally found a corner of the table.  It took four days but I finally got there.  Tthe stamps went in cubbies and drawers.  The paper was organized.  Stickers went into boxes.  Yarn into tubs and bags.  Envelopes got organized.  I even managed to get the ribbon onto the spools and boxes for holidays.

Then I sat down and stamped.  I finally used my copic markers for large designs instead if details.

I made a vow to keep it that way for a month at least.  It is one week in and it is still neat.  Will it continue-NO but I feel great right now.  So I thought maybe if I keep track of things in a blog for me, I will do better.

So I am going to try and  write weekly. That way I will keep track of cards that I make for the shut ins.

So here are the cards I made last week.  They will go in the mail this week.
